Can I still progress with my conveyancing transaction?
We want to reassure you that it’s very much business as usual here at Homeward Legal, despite the unusual times. The team are busy working from home to ensure that we deliver the very finest conveyancing services to those of you in the process of buying, selling or re-mortgaging a property.
Will I have to visit an office?
In times of social distancing such as these, rest assured that Homeward Legal can help you keep your property transaction moving without actually having to meet your conveyancing solicitor face to face. Online conveyancing works precisely the same as face to face conveyancing, the difference being that everything is done either online or via telephone. This enables you to minimise unnecessary contact with others whilst your solicitor gets to work on carrying out property searches (if you’re buying) and the enquiries required for your transaction.
What happens if my conveyancing solicitor becomes unwell?
Your transaction with us is protected should your solicitor unfortunately become unwell and not be able to work. Calling upon our nationwide talent pool of experienced solicitors, we can call on another conveyancing professional to pick up your file to keep your transaction moving for you with no delays.
What if my transaction falls through?
Our no-completion protection protects your fixed fee quote in the event that your property transaction falls through. Should your transaction fail to complete, for whatever reason, you will pay no further fees on that transaction. Your initial payment will rollover to your next instruction with us and will be used against the balance of your legal fees on your completion statement, meaning that your money is protected.
